Farm Fresh Friday: Pink Presents

This week's Farm Fresh Friday Challenge at The Greeting Farm was to feature the color pink! I figured this was a good warm up for me, because I'll be using a lot of pink over the next month. You see, I'll be playing in the Splitcoaststampers Hope You Can Cling To stamping event. It's a month of stamping challenges in support of breast cancer awareness, and all the cards made get donated to MD Anderson Cancer Center for the breast cancer patients there. There are prizes awarded to the participants who play along, but for me, the real reward of this event is putting my stamps and supplies to good use for a great cause. Unfortunately, I've been making a lot of cards for friends and family dealing with cancer lately. My sister is 3.5-year survivor of uterine cancer and several friends and co-workers have been diagnosed with breast cancer over the last few years. Right now, a close friend and former co-worker is going through radiation treatment. So I'll be thinking of them as I stamp for the next few weeks. Please consider joining me for this fun and fabulous cause.
Now on to the card. I mentioned awhile back that I recently won some Greeting Farm stamps - two fabulous new Christmas sets that are making my Christmas cards so easy this year! These fun stamps have cute designs and great sentiments, and they are easy to work with. So I've been using them on some of The Greeting Farm challenges and building up my holiday card stash. For this one, I pulled out a scrap of old Christmas dp and paired it with these cute presents, and plenty of pink! I added a touch of stickles for a bit of sparkle on the packages, but otherwise, this is another super simple card. Thanks for a fun challenge, TGF!
