I found myself returning to a couple of things over and over again while making my cards for the Hope card drive on Splitcoast. First, I used a lot of Echo Park Paper's Walk in the Park collection papers. I love these papers! The colors are great, the patterns are fun and the whole collection is so versatile! Second, I used a lot of butterflies. I mean A LOT! I guess I think of butterflies as hopeful insects. Plus they are fun! And last, I made several square cards, measuring 4.25 inches, with very similar layouts. I have no idea why, except maybe they were easy and I was running out of mojo? Today's card features all three. The challenge was to use sewing of some kind on your card. I don't sew. At all. I've probably mentioned before that I have needle phobia. But I came up with an idea to do a butterfly trail using faux stitching. I pierced the tail free-hand then used black pen to create the stitches. I actually quite like how this turned out!Supplies:

Awesome faux stitching. Yours looks so real! A very pretty card. I love the butterfly cut from the same paper as the background. And that is a great font on the sentiment.
