Whales on the water

So here's another of the cards I made over the weekend for VSN! I have plenty to blog about this week because of that flurry of crafting over the weekend. This card was for my pal Peggysue's challenge; she asked us to incorporate water of some kind in our projects. I had these darling whales from Taylored Expressions sitting on my stamp table begging to finally get some ink, so I set them in a series of waves cut with my Creative Memories wavy cutter. That thing has come in so handy recently! It's one of those tools I tend to forget that I have, but when I pull it out, I remember why I've been hanging onto it! I thought the front waves needed a little something, so I embossed them with my Cuttlebug for a little texture.
Supplies:
Stamps: Taylored Expressions
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, Copic markers
Paper: Taken with teal, bermuda bay, neenah white, soft sky
Accessories: Nestabilities, Cuttlebug, CM wavy cutter, Stickles
