Sunset tricks

My teenage nephew races motocross, so I had to pick up this SU stamp to use for cards for him. I thought it would be fun to silhouette the image against a sunset, and his racing colors are blue and orange, so I used those colors for my sunset! The image is sponged with shades of orange and blue, lightest first and to the inside, finishing with the darkest color on the edges. The background piece was spritzed with blue, orange and black markers. I added texture with the metal sheet and some cuttlebugging, but otherwise skipped the embellishments, since it is a teenage boy card after all!
Supplies:
Stamps: Extreme dirtbike, SU
Ink: only orange, pumpkin pie, brilliant blue, bashful blue, ballet blue, brilliance black
Paper: only orange, brilliant blue, basic black, neenah white
Accessories: Cuttlebug folders, metal sheet, color spritzer

That is way cool. I love the idea of the sunset.
