One of the VSN challenges last weekend was to use the baby wipe technique. I haven't done this technique in ages, so I thought it was time to give it a try again! The striped background was made by inking some lines on a baby wipe then swiping the wipe across glossy paper. I love this look! For the surfboards, I inked another section of the baby wipe with several colors close together and then used the wipe as an ink pad. The beach is strips of torn kraft paper. A bit of linen thread finished the card off. It's pretty simple, but fun and definitely "beachy!"
Supplies:
Stamps: Just Surfing, SU
Ink: cool caribbean, tangerine tango and kiwi kiss reinkers
Paper: neenah white, glossy white, kraft, tangerine tango, kiwi kiss, cool caribbean
Accessories: linen thread, baby wipes
