Scoring a basket

Here's my final card from last weekend's VSN on Splitcoast. Kelly's challenge was all about the scoring blade; she asked us to use decorative scoring on our cards. I scored my banana layer on the diagonal in both directions to simulate a basket weave of sorts, then added this sweet basket image. You may have to click the photo to enlarge it in order to really see the scoring - it's hard to capture in a photograph! I added a little so saffron sponging to the edges, too. I wanted to keep the design simple so I didn't cover up the background too much, but this card feels like it needs a little "something." My 45 minutes were up, though, so I called it good!
Supplies:
Stamps: Flower for all seasons, All holidays
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, Copic markers, so saffron
Paper: barely banana, bashful blue, neenah white
Accessories: ribbon, nestabilities, bone folder
