Res-Q 36 for Chris

I got most of my chores done early today so I sat down to do a little Saturday night stamping tonight! This card is for this week's Res-Q Challenge. Denise asked us to make a boy's birthday card, taking inspiration from a list of her son Chris' favorite things in honor of his birthday yesterday. See all the details of the challenge HERE! From Denise's list, I selected cars, the color blue and bubble wrap. I had a nice piece of bubble wrap in my garage - I save all the packaging from stuff I order or receive with gifts in the mail and recycle it when I send stuff out. Anyway, this particular piece was slightly sticky on the back, so I cut a rectangle off, stuck it to an acrylic block and inked it up to make the circle background on this card. Fun, right? The car is an ancient $1 stamp from Michaels, colored with Copics. The little brads are from my stash; I think I recycled them from an old RAK. They have little dents in them so they look like screws.
Supplies:
Stamps: Sentiment -SU All Holidays; car - Michaels $1 stamp
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, basic gray, bordering blue, Copic markers
Paper: basic gray, bordering blue, ballet blue, whisper white
Accessories: brads, bubble wrap, Cuttlebug mesh embossing folder

so cute and fun! Chris loves "the car one" and at the mention of bubble wrap, he asked me to find him some! Thanks for playing along Mish!
