SFYTT times two

I had a chance this weekend to play along with Jen del Muro's Sketch for You to Try Saturday challenge. She is doing a big giveaway for all the people who play along over the next few weeks. You can find out all about it, and see the sketches, HERE. These two cards are for this week's sketch. My cousin has adorable twin girls who are turning three in a few days. I like to make them cards that are the same, yet slightly different, and this year is no exception! I love this patterned paper from KI Memories - I picked it up on clearance at Target and I'm getting a lot of use out of it. I kept the cards simple - they are 3-year-olds, after all! I did add some sparkle to the cupcake and candle using my Copic Spica glitter pen, but you can't really see that in the photo.
Supplies:
Stamps: For a Friend, Darling Dots
Ink: Rose romance (retired SU), Memento tuxedo black, Copic markers
Paper: wild wasabi, pink pirouette, rose romance, KI Memories, whisper white
Accessories: Nestabilities, scallop and circle punches, Spica glitter pen

This is my version of Jen's sketch from last week. There is no stamping on this card! And other than the cardstock, everything on the card is from the Kaisercraft Lilac Avenue collection. Have I mentioned how much I'm loving that collection? This card includes paper, die cuts, ribbon, flowers and brads from the collection. The paper is embossed so the purple swirls have a shine to them. Thanks Jen for the fun sketches and for the chance to win!
Supplies:
Paper: Vintage Violet (retired SU), certainly celery, KC certainly celery
Accessories: corner rounder, KC die cut, KC ribbon, KC brads and flowers
