Here are some more holiday cards I made to send out this year. I made about 60 cards in all, averaging 6-8 of each design. Usually I order new stamps, paper and other accessories for my cards, but this year I decided in the interest of the economy and my wallet that I would try to use up things I had at home. One of my favorite Stampin Up sets of all time is Peaceful Wishes. I love how the pine bough can be turned into a Christmas tree. That's what I did with these cards. Both cards are similar, with just a few minor adjustments!
The first version is my favorite, but I didn't have enough pearls or burgundy ribbon to do them all that way, so the second version is a more simplified version with cream ribbon and no pearls. The moss piece behind the image is embossed with a new Cuttlebug folder - the only major purchase I made this year for my holiday crafting! I had hoped to use the Peaceful Wishes sentiment on these cards, but it didn't fit, so I used the sentiment from Sincere Salutations instead. I love the elegant look of this font.
Supplies:
Stamps: Peaceful wishes, Sincere salutations
Ink: mellow moss, bravo burgundy
Paper: very vanilla, mellow moss, bravo burgundy
Accessories: Cuttlebug folder, ribbon, Kaisercraft pearls

Wow! This is one of my faves, Mish! Love the simplistic elegance of your color palette as well as the clean embossing and the single image. Stunning! Merry Christmas missy!
