Tall iris

This is another of my VSN favorites. The challenge was to use purple on your card, and it was inspired by the book "The Color Purple." I love this Penny Black iris and often stamp it in shades of purple. This time, I inked the flower in amethyst and rolled the edges in eggplant. I also heated the edges of this beautiful organdy ribbon so they would curl a bit (be careful if you do this, I burned a little hole in my ribbon! Fortunately it doesn't show.) The card measures 6.25 by 3.5 inches.
