Robyn had a super fun VSN challenge this round; she asked us to make a luminary! I had never made one of these before (at least I hadn't made any that were more sophisticated than brown paper bags with sand and candles!) Anyway, I followed this easy tutorial from Beate and it came out pretty cute! I did the top decor, the fence and the grass using Martha Stewart border punches. The window is cut with nesties and the flowers are from the SU boho blossom and scallop circle (for the leaves) punches. The vellum was scraps from my stash. The candle inside is actually a battery powered votive - no live flame to avoid fire danger!
Supplies:
Paper: bazzill, choice white, vellum
Accessories: punches, nesties, bling, candle
