This week, the blog's all about Thanksgiving! Every year I send out cards to a small group of close friends and family for Thanksgiving. This year I made a dozen cards, several of which I'll be sharing this week as we celebrate Thanksgiving. I'm thankful this year for so much- the health of my family and friends, the advances of modern medicine that are helping some of those folks beat cancer, being able to do the work that I love (even if I don't always love the job!), and having this fabulous creative outlet called papercrafting!
Most, or actually, all of my Thanksgiving cards this year use supplies from my October Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients kit. I love the Imaginisce Apple Cider dp in the kit, and the yummy ribbon and buttons are fun and fabulous accents. This card was made for the recent VSN challenges. For the leaves, I inked them in several shades to get the variation you find when the leaves are turning color in the fall.
Thanks for stopping by today, and Happy Thanksgiving!
