Turtle on suede

This little cutie was whipped up for last weekend's Virtual Stamp Night challenges in Splitcoaststampers. I needed a birthday card for a little boy, and I just happened to have some cute Kim Hughes stamps (from her days at Cornish Heritage Farms) that included this turtle. He was colored with copics and finished off with some Ranger glossy accents on his shell. The gray background is the faux suede technique, which makes for a nice texture contrast with the smooth turtle shell.
Supplies:
Stamps: Kim Hughes for CHF, Pink Persimmon sentiment
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, copic markers
Paper: artichoke, basic black, choice white, basic gray
Accessories: nestabilities, crimper, glossy accents, brads
