World Cardmaking Weekend

I managed to make four cards yesterday for World Cardmaking Day, plus I helped a friend make two more. I felt really accomplished, given that I hadn't stamped in so long! I'm working on some more cards today in between loads of laundry and other weekend chores. This card is a combination of two challenges: Ellen Hutson's color challenge and Joan B's Hope You Can Cling to challenge on Splitcoast. Ellen's color palette was aquas, browns and red - it reminded me immediately of my Basic Grey Dasher paper. I've been trying for two years to use that package up - maybe this year I'll actually managed to do it! :) Joan's challenge was to make a card without a sentiment on the front. I love this Hero Arts snowman, but he is big and the accompanying sentiment is hard to fit on the front of the card with him. The card is 4.25 inches square.
Supplies:
Stamps: Hero Arts
Ink: Memento rich cocoa, Copic markers
Paper: always artichoke, chocolate chip, choice buttercream, Basic Grey Dasher
Accessories: buttons, linen thread, distressing edge, Creative Memories oval cutter
