Happy World Cardmaking Day!

Happy World Cardmaking Day! I don't know about you, but I'm celebrating by stamping! I took a hiatus from cardmaking for a few weeks in an attemp to get some scrapbooking done. I managed quite a few pages (though I am still woefully behind!) but I was ready to get back to my stamps and cards! Today I'm playing in a few challenges and contests. This card fits a couple: American Crafts; a sketch challenge from Julia Stainton on Ellen Hutson's Classroom blog; and Lori Craig's color challenge on Splitcoaststampers. Splitcoast is combining World Cardmaking Day with Breast Cancer Awareness Month and a month-long card drive to benefit the MD Andersen Cancer Center in Texas. Challenges will continue all month long! Lori's challenge was to combine pink and brown on your card. I couldn't find a brown flower, so I colored a white one with Copics then added some glitter for sparkle. The ribbon is also outlined in glitter. OK, now I must get back to stamping! Have a great day everyone!
Supplies:
Stamps: Sarasota Stamps - ribbon; Hero Arts - sentiment
Ink: Pink pirouette, pretty in pink, Memento rich cocoa
Paper: Pink pirouette, chocolate chip, whisper white, American Crafts patterned paper
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, flower, button, twine, scallop edge punch, Art institute glitter, American Crafts ribbon

This is such a classy card, and a nice take on breast cancer awareness.
