Brown bag apple

Today's card is one for the hometown challenges. Robyn asked us to make cards using inspiration from our visit to Sullivan, Wis., and the surrounding area. One stop on our virtual tour was to a restaurant known for its apple pie baked in brown paper bags! I started with a kraft card base and cut out apples using Nestability dies, then sponged the edges with kiwi kiss to make them stand out a bit. The yellow polka dot paper is actually fabric paper from the Dear Lizzy collection by American Crafts. I love the country yet clean and simple feel of this card! In fact, I think it's my favorite card of all the hometown cards I made!
Supplies:
Stamps: Short and Sweet, SU
Paper: kraft, neenah white, Dear Lizzy
Ink: Kiwi kiss
Accessories: Apple nesties, Martha Stewart edge punch, ribbon

I know that restaurant, and the Elegant Farmer just west of us started the apple brown bag pie thing. Your card is so cute.
