Karolyn's colors

I woke up to a very pleasant stamping-related surprise today. Beth had chosen me as the Featured Stamper for this week's challenge. I was so flattered and shocked! I feel like I got invited to sit at the cook kids' table for a day. You can see the challenge here, and if you play along, I'd be honored!
Now on to today's card. Well actually, I made it a few days ago , but never got it uploaded. I've had a bit of stamper's block this weekend and didn't get much stamping done. Funny how when you have time to stamp, you can't come up with anything you like! Sort of like when you're shopping - you find all kinds of cute stuff when you're broke, but when you're looking for stuff to buy, you can't find anything! :)
OK, now really on to today's card. These colors were inspired by friend Karolyn of Paper Therapy. She'd been talking about orange/sky blue as a color combination for awhile so I had to give one a try. I actually really like it! The card itself is pretty simple, just some stamping, embossing and the usual embellishments.
Supplies:
Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral
Ink: Soft sky, pumpkin pie, apricot appeal
Paper: whisper white, apricot appeal, soft sky, pumpkin pie
Accessories: EK Success punch, Manhattan flower embossing folder, ribbon, button, Spica glitter pen

Girl, you ARE the cool kid!! No doubt about it!! Love this color combo - if I were to get married again, these are the colors I'd use. You've showcased them beautifully here!! I really like the embossing on the card base, and the variegated oranges. Yummy, yummy, yummy!! I hope I get to play in your FS spotlight today!!
