Dragonfly and FTL79

I had a little time for some stamping this weekend so I thought I would make a couple of cards for Taylor of Taylored Expressions' Dragonfly card drive. The cards are going to a hospital that uses dragonfly cards for parents who've lost an infant. You can find out all about the card drive on Taylor's blog HERE. My selection of dragonfly stamps was very limited, but I did find this image in an old Stampin Up set called Nature's Wonders. I paired the image with this week's sketch from Clean and Simple Stamping, which you can find HERE.
I colored the image with Copics, then spritzed it with some Smooch Spritz shimmer spray in vanilla. The white panel with the sentiment is also lightly spritzed with vanilla. The background was spritzed liberally with electric blue Smooch Spritz, then run through my Cuttlebug with the d'vine swirl embossing folder. Hopefully you can see some of the spritz up close in the detail photo. And remember, you can always click the photos in my posts to see them in a larger version. The card was finished with three black pearls from Kaisercraft. I am almost out of those; I guess I'll have to pick up some more soon!
Thanks, as always, for stopping by.
Supplies:
Stamps: Nature's Wonder, sentiment from Gentle Greetings, both retired SU
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, Copic markers
Paper: neenah white, basic black
Accessories: Smooch spritz in vanilla and electric blue, Cuttlebug, KC pearls

What great colors. The swirly embossing is just right with your image.
