CHA Super Show and Cuttlebug!

While at the Craft Super Show this weekend, I spent quite a bit of time in the popular Provocraft booth checking out the cool new stuff! See the previous post for details about the Cricut stuff. This post is all about the Cuttlebug! I have a Cuttlebug and love it! So I was so excited to see this whole wall full of new stuff for it. There are some fabulous new embossing folders, including a whole set of Asian-inspired folders (love those!). Some of the folders are going to be 5x7-inches instead of 4x6, for better coverage! Woohoo! They are also coming out with dies to use for quilling - you can make some really neat flowers with them.
These new dies/folders are really neat - they are metal plates that cut and emboss. You can also use them to stencil color on. This particular sample was sprayed with a shimmer mist - it was super sparkly in real life. And I love that window cutout. So cool! Most of the new folders and dies will be out in about 60 days, according to the nice Provocraft guy who was telling me all about them.
Two more pieces of cool Cuttlebug news: First, look at those cute new colors and designs!!! Sorry for the dark photo - I blame the bad lighting in the convention center. The new colors are a deep pink and bright ocean blue. The blue has a flourish design on it and the pink has butterflies! The Cuttlebug will also soon have 12-inch long plates for cutting and embossing longer pieces. So fun!
It's getting late and I'm wiped out after two busy days! Check back tomorrow for more photos and info from the Super Show!
