WCMD: Ellen Hutson/Debbie Olsen

I had so much fun stamping all day yesterday for World Cardmaking Day. I got a number of cards done and will be sharing all those creations over the next few days. I may even stamp a few more today before the day is over! One of the places I visited yesterday was Ellen Hutson's Classroom blog - she has some great challenges and giveaways going on over there. I started with an easy challenge, Debbie Olsen challenged us to make a card for our holiday card stash! I'm slowly building up my stash for the coming year. Last year I made a couple of cards for some Elvis fans in my life, and they were such a hit I thought I would make some more this year. Then I found this sentiment from Stampendous and new it would pair perfectly with Elvis. Since the Elvis stamp is so intricate, I've tried to keep the layout and embellishing pretty simple.
Supplies:
Stamps: Elvis, Cornish Heritage Farms; sentiment, Stampendous
Ink: Brilliance graphite black
Paper: basic black, bashful blue, neenah white
Accessories: Cuttlebug snowflake folder, Kaisercraft pearls, ribbon, slot punch

Too fun, Mish! Love the monochromatic blues, and that Elvis is a wonderful image!! I saw on someone's blog that you won some WCMD goodies - but I can't remember where. Congrats!! No one deserves it more than you, my friend!
