Apple cupcake

Sorry for the absence all week. January's gotten off to a rough start! The sad thing is I've actually been doing a fair amount of crafting, but I just hadn't gotten the stuff photographed or uploaded. That should change this week, I am trying to get a jump on things today!
Today's card is something new, actually, I just made it this morning. It's for Jen del Muro's card drive/weekly sketch challenge/blog candy giveaways. She's having a card drive with some fabulous blog candy prizes; all you have to do is send a card in and post on her blog. You can find all the details HERE! The drive and contest run through Jan. 31.
This week she's having another contest as part of her weekly sketch and one card qualifies for both contests! Details on the sketch challenge are HERE! So this is my card for both contests. I also organized my card stash this weekend and will be sending a few others from my stash along with it.
I used some scraps of this lovely Washington Apple designer paper for my card. I love the colors in this paper, and I have a special affinity for its name; I happen to be related to some people in the Washington Apple business! Anyway, I used some Creative Memories circle punches to punch out flowers from the DP for the embellishments and colored the image with Copic markers. I also had to add a little bling! Thanks again everyone for reading and for your patience with me lately. I really do appreciate it!
