Res-Q #16: Puzzling diagnosis

It's Monday which means it's time for another Res-Q challenge. Our doctor on call this week is Jean the diagnostician, who left us some clues but left it to us to solve the puzzling diagnosis! Check out Jean's challenge here and please play along! There's also a blog candy giveaway going on through Sept. 24.
I was in a stamping slump, so I needed a little mojo rescuing tonight. I'm not sure I got Jean's puzzle totally correct, but I did figure out one of the clues was blue, so I took my card inspiration from this really fun cotton "ribbon" I found while out craft shopping over the weekend. The ribbon is cotton fabric with a wire sewn down the middle, so I took a piece and made some ruffles along the bottom and added some buttons over the top. The corner piece is sewn to the button to make a little flowery doo-dad. I think next time I would skip the buttons on the bottom and just ruffle it all the way across, but overall this was a fun card to make. It's a departure of sorts from my usual style, but once in awhile I like to get out of my comfort zone. Thanks for a fun challenge, Jean!
Supplies:
Stamps: Upsy daisy
Ink: brilliant blue, bashful blue
Paper: brilliant blue, bashful blue, whisper white
Accessories: ribbon, buttons, thread, Cuttlebug, Tonic distresser

Mish, this is so pretty. I love the ruffles and buttons and your choice of blue. You did a good job on the puzzle. I see texture, layered, three, blue, accessories, and I forget what the sixth one was! Beautiful card.

I'm so glad I came by to check out your card. First because it's beautiful! Love what you did with that gorgeous ribbon - it's good for us to get out of our comfort zones occasionally, isn't it?!! Second, because I couldn't figure out what the H-E-DOUBLE TOOTHPICKS 5 down was! I see from Jean's comment that it's "accessories." Yay! Now I can go make my card for the challenge!
